- How about this: developers are morally excluded from having to pay the fee.

- In my notion of fairness, this is Fair. Developers who provide documentation
- that can only be read by ST-guide are supporting it much more than a donation
- would. Not everyone shares this notion however. At least one of us here
- thinks that developers should actually pay MORE than regular users. How we
- resolve this is tricky, and the only solution I see is to ask Holger for *his*
- definition of fairness. I'm not even sure of the fairness for the USER of
- a freeware program to have to register accompanying `fairware' to use it
- to read the freeware documentation.
